Tibetan overtone singing

Tibetan harmonic chanting is based on a complex technical practice. Its purpose is not to create a spectacular effect, but to establish a relationship with the vibration of sound itself, using it as a means of concentration and inner transformation.
‍
It is within this dimension that the connection between performer and listener is formed. Through breath and the resonance of their own body, the performer generates a vibration that spreads through space and engages those who listen.
